Choose where to transmit.
Selecting a PTT target and enabling receive are separate controls. Operators can listen to several channels without changing the channel selected for transmission.
- Transmit
- Press and hold PTT. Audio is sent after the channel grants the floor.
- Receive
- Choose which active channels to monitor.
- Traffic
- Review who last spoke and replay recent traffic when recording and access permit it.
Connect the existing radio system.
A configured RoIP bridge can connect selected AIGIS channels to conventional radio users.
- The path
- Field or OPS connects through broadband PTT, the AIGIS RoIP bridge, and a configured radio gateway to the conventional radio system.
- Gateways
- Supported gateways include Vocality, JPS, and other RoIP devices.
- Deployment
- Configure channel access and equipment, then commission and acceptance-test the radio path for the organization.
A conventional radio bridge is an optional, configured deployment. Broadband PTT requires working connectivity and microphone access.
Read the channel state before speaking.
Busy, unavailable, disconnected, and ready states have different meanings. A selected channel alone does not mean a transmission succeeded.

- Wait for the floor before transmitting.
- Connectivity lost
- Restore the connection before trying again.
- Microphone unavailable
- Check device and application microphone access.
