Acceptable Use Policy
This working policy sets the boundaries for responsible use of AIGIS accounts, operational data, communications, location, radio, and integrations.

1. Authorized Operational Use
Use AIGIS only for organizations, incidents, responders, units, missions, channels, radio systems, integrations, and information you are authorized to access or manage. Follow the permissions, procedures, and command structure established by your organization.
2. Accounts and Identity
- Do not share credentials or trusted-device access.
- Do not impersonate another responder, dispatcher, administrator, organization, unit, or system.
- Do not misstate identity, qualifications, affiliation, assignment, role, availability, or authority.
- Do not use another person's device, certificate, account, or identifier without authorization.
3. Operational Integrity
- Do not create false incidents, missions, dispatch records, locations, statuses, reports, acknowledgements, or personnel records.
- Do not conceal or alter operational information to mislead responders, command staff, administrators, or investigators.
- Do not interfere with unit tracking, accountability, dispatch, alerting, staffing, or service-record workflows.
- Do not rely on AIGIS as the only source for a life-safety decision or operate without required backup procedures.
4. Location, Personnel, and Sensitive Information
- Do not track a person or unit without a lawful, authorized operational purpose.
- Do not use location, qualifications, availability, service history, or personnel information for harassment, retaliation, unlawful surveillance, discrimination, or an unauthorized employment decision.
- Do not disclose sensitive operational, responder, medical, personnel, or incident information to an unauthorized person.
- Do not upload personal or sensitive information that is not needed for an authorized operational purpose.
5. Messaging, Radio, and RoIP
- Use only channels, talkgroups, gateways, and radio systems you are authorized and, where required, licensed to use.
- Do not jam, flood, disrupt, obstruct, or misuse messaging, radio, push-to-talk, RoIP, CAD, alerting, or emergency communications.
- Do not transmit threats, harassment, deceptive emergency traffic, unlawful content, or information you are not authorized to share.
- Follow applicable notice, consent, retention, and disclosure rules for recorded or monitored communications.
6. Systems and Integrations
- Do not bypass permissions, authentication, rate limits, device controls, organization boundaries, or security restrictions.
- Do not introduce code, files, commands, or traffic intended to damage, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access.
- Do not reverse engineer or copy protected parts of AIGIS except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Do not connect an unauthorized CAD feed, radio gateway, identity provider, data source, or other system.
- Do not use third-party data, maps, weather, flight, outage, or integration content outside the permissions provided by its owner.
7. AI and Automation
- Do not use AI-assisted output without appropriate human review.
- Do not use AI or automation to create deceptive operational records, impersonate authorized users, or overwhelm the service.
- Do not use AI output as the sole basis for emergency, medical, employment, credentialing, disciplinary, or other high-impact decisions.
8. Compliance With Law and Policy
Use AIGIS in compliance with applicable law, radio and communications requirements, privacy and records obligations, contracts, agency policies, mutual-aid agreements, and professional standards.
9. Enforcement
AIGIS may investigate suspected misuse, preserve relevant records, limit or suspend access, notify the customer organization, and take other reasonable action to protect people, operations, data, and systems. AIGIS may report activity when required by law or necessary to address an immediate safety or security risk.
